Vishwa Vijay Singh, one of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officers investigating the road drug case involving Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, has been dismissed by the agency on bribery charges.

According to an NCB official, Singh's termination order was issued last month following an investigation into the case by the agency's Delhi Zone office. "Superintendent Vishwa Vijay Singh was dismissed from NCB service in another case in which he was suspended last year and an investigation was pending against him," an official said, as per reports.

The Aryan Khan Case
On October 2021, Aryan Khan was arrested along with eight others, including Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmun Dhamecha, during an NCB raid on the cruise ship Cordelia off the coast of Mumbai. Aryan Khan and others were produced before a court in Mumbai a day after the arrest. The accused were subsequently sent to NCB custody for one day.

On October 4, the court extended the remand of Aryan Khan and others by three days as the agency claimed to have found several pieces of evidence against them. On October 7, the NCB's request to extend the detention of Arijek Khan and others was rejected by the court. However, they were sent to judicial custody. While Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant were lodged in Arthur Road Jail, Munmun was sent to Byculla Ladies Jail.

On October 20, a special NDPS court rejected Aryan's bail plea. However, Aryan's counsel moved the Bombay High Court seeking his bail. Aryan's bail argument lasts for three days (October 26 to October 28). He was granted bail on October 28. On October 29, Bollywood actor and Shah Rukh's friend Juhi Chawla signs a bond for Aryan before a special court. On October 30, Aryan was released from Arthur Road Prison. On 27 May 2022, Aryan was given a clean chit in a drug case.
